Sales Development Rep
Remote (within United States)

Description:

Rotunda Software is a small, profitable technology company focused on helping people do good things. We have two very sticky software products that customers LOVE and a new solution with a bright future.

We seek a self-proclaimed sales guru to propel Rotunda Software to new heights. The ideal candidate enjoys working on a small team, is positive and thrives helping people identify problems and find solutions. The immediate job responsibility is to generate interest in our suite of products. However, we're seeking someone motivated to learn how our software works so they can quickly grow and handle the entire sales cycle.

Requirements:

- Always keep the customers' best interest in mind
- Generate leads by cold calling and emailing
- Communicate well both verbally and in writing
- Qualify potential customers
- Help people uncover their challenges and provide solutions
- Follow up on sales inquiries from inbound emails and phone calls

Full Stack JavaScript Developer
Buenos Aires or Montevideo

Responsibilities:

The candidate who fills this position will need to be comfortable with JavaScript on both the client side and the server side. This position is best suited for somebody who is looking for an opportunity to:

Our front end stack is built using modular design principles enabled by open source tools developed at Rotunda in conjunction with James Halliday, the creator of Browserify. Our back end is built with node.js, express, Postgres, on an AWS infrastructure. The candidate who fills this role will have an opportunity to work on all levels of the stack.

Lead Backend Developer

This role may be a good fit for you if you are:

  • Detail oriented
  • Have a passion for finding simple, elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Are equally passionate about writing tests for said solutions
  • Have experience and a passion for designing elegant APIs
  • Have experience building web applications at large scale
  • Have experience with node.js, express, Postgres, and AWS

Responsibilities:

Rotunda's existing products are depended upon by over 30,000 people a day, and the candidate who fills this position will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the existing node.js backend infrastructure for those products.

In addition, our new communication tool, Unison, is in rapid development and has explosive growth potential. We are looking for somebody who can ensure that this new product can be used effectively by organizations with tens of thousands of members. For example, among other challenging projects, this role will work together with DevOps to implement a highly generalized and scalable map-reduce querying mechanism leveraging lambda functions.

Sales Manager

Our highly collaborative team works remotely and is spread out over six states and two continents.

We’re looking for a player / coach who can handle an integrated sales role while also leading the sales team and effort. The ideal candidate will thrive on helping clients, inspiring co-workers and growing professionally. Key factors in place to ensure this role’s success include proven products with an extremely low churn rate (under 5% annually), steady revenue growth, a clear target market, and strong systems to support sales operations. Applicants should have direct experience with sales and managing people.

Technical Support Agent
Remote (within United States)

Description:

Rotunda Software is a small, profitable technology company focused on helping people do good things. We have two very sticky software products that customers LOVE and a new solution with a bright future.

We are looking for a Client Service Specialist to join our team in providing stellar customer support to help organizations schedule, connect, and grow their volunteer base. You will be responsible for assisting clients in setting up the software and handling technical and customer service-related questions. This includes educating users on how the program works, making setup recommendations based on their needs, and finding and reporting bugs.

In addition, you will be part of the beta testing team which is responsible for testing new features and ensuring they are bug free. Side projects may include -- but are not limited to -- producing webinars, creating documentation, and supporting the marketing team. You are encouraged to propose new side projects based on your interests.

This means listening, sympathizing, being patient, and encouraging users -- many of whom are not tech savvy. It also means getting creative to solve unique problems.

Compensation:

$35k - $50k
