Visual Design Lead

Description:

Rotunda is a small startup focused on building people management software. As the Visual Design Lead you will be responsible for the stewardship and evolution of Rotunda's visual brand across a broad range of visual touch-points. Your days will be filled creating engaging, interactive products, webpages, campaigns, and experiences that people will love to use. You will be given the freedom to work independently from sketch to ship, while balancing daily collaborative projects with our engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce all business assets (e.g. templates, presentations etc.)
  • Design and produce print collateral (e.g. brochures, magazine ads, mailers)
  • Lead UI/UX design for all Rotunda products
  • Maintain ongoing web design for current products
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns
  • Ideate ways to visually engage customers
  • Produce visual content for marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • Visual Design degree, plus a min of 3-5 years professional work experience
  • Excellent visual and user-focused design skills, with an eye for detail
  • Proficient in designing user interfaces for web, mobile and other devices
  • Great eye for layout, typography, color, and iconography is a must
  • Ability to maintain high design standards in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Mastery of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Mastery of Adobe Suite
  • A proven track record designing and applying brand standards across a variety of marketing touch-points.

  • A visual storyteller
  • A strong conceptual thinker who can connect creative ideas across different forms of media
  • Experienced with web design and up to date on new technologies
  • Comfortable in UX design

Compensation:

Marketing Guru

We have developed a brand new product with broad-based appeal that focuses on connecting and organizing groups of people. Now we need the right person to help us launch it to our existing clients and beyond.

The right candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Excellent writer with a clear and approachable tone
  • Ability to quickly craft content that builds community and excitement
  • Analytical mindset, and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience prioritizing limited resources for maximum impact

We're looking for a self-starter that enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of marketing. This position will be ultimately responsible for all outbound client communications at Rotunda (emails, blogs, social media posts and print marketing campaigns). Excellent writing and engagement skills are a requirement. Experience with Google AdWords, Analytics, and email marketing are major pluses.

The starting salary is negotiable for the right candidate. We are only considering candidates looking for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work in the San Francisco office, however, this could be a remote position for the right candidate.

Telemarketing and Inside Sales
San Francisco

Description:

Rotunda Software seeks an outgoing, upbeat and self-motivated individual to generate leads for our flagship software, Ministry Scheduler Pro. You'll get the opportunity to work with an established sales team and be exposed to the sales cycle from the bottom up! This is a remote position.

Rotunda Software is dedicated to helping churches and non-profits save time and frustration, and alleviate key stressors related to scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to churches and navigate their internal structure to identify schedulers.
  • Learn about their current scheduling model and pass on information about MSP, with the goal of having them download a free trial.
  • Work from home: you will be making calls from your own home office.
  • You will use your own computer and phone to make calls; we will provide a soft phone line and plan.
  • Part time position, minimum of 30 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Enjoy speaking with people, and have a positive and upbeat phone demeanor.
  • Great listener and quick thinker.
  • Assertive and confident, while also being kind and understanding.
  • Experience with lead generation and working from home preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

$14-16/hour

Full Stack JavaScript Developer
Buenos Aires

Description:

Work on creative and challenging projects with a small team of talented developers.

Responsibilities:

The candidate who fills this position will need to be comfortable with JavaScript on both the client side and the server side. This position is best suited for somebody who is looking for an opportunity to:

Our front end stack is built using modular design principles enabled by open source tools developed at Rotunda in conjunction with James Halliday, the creator of Browserify. Our back end is built with node.js, express, Postgres, on an AWS infrastructure. The candidate who fills this role will have an opportunity to work on all levels of the stack.

DevOps + Backend Developer

Description:

We support over 25,000 users a day with a variety of backend technologies including: Ubuntu, Chef, OpsWorks, MongoDB, node, Lambda functions, Postgres, PHP, and Symfony2.

Responsibilities:

The candidate who fills this position will need to be comfortable maneuvering within that technological context in order to optimize and improve our existing infrastructure as well as scale the infrastructure our new consumer oriented product. Thankfully we don't spend a lot of time putting out fires, but when something explodes, this person also needs to be able to quickly find and fix the problem.
The candidate who fills this role will have an opportunity to work on all levels of the stack.

Node.js, DevOps, Ubuntu, AWS, Chef

Compensation:

$30K - $50K
