We seek a self-proclaimed sales guru to propel Rotunda Software to new heights. The ideal candidate enjoys working on a small team, is positive and thrives helping people identify problems and find solutions. The immediate job responsibility is to generate interest in our suite of products. However, we're seeking someone motivated to learn how our software works so they can quickly grow and handle the entire sales cycle.

Requirements:

Client Service Specialist (Technical Support Agent)
San Francisco

Description:

Rotunda Software, a service based technology company based in San Francisco, CA, seeks a self-motivated individual to join our support team. This is a remote position. Rotunda helps non-profit organizations effectively schedule volunteers and has been providing outstanding phone and email support for our clients for over 10 years.

Primary responsibilities will include assisting clients in setting up the software and handling technical and customer service-related questions via phone and email. Understanding the software's features and benefits and being able to articulate them clearly will be critical to filling this position.

We are a small team that provides room to grow into other aspects of support, sales, and marketing within the company. We are a service based organization and are seeking a committed and outgoing individual that is interested in helping people solve problems while learning new skills and growing personally. This is a positive, stress free environment.

A typical day in the position will involve fielding incoming calls and emails from current and prospective clients. Support cases can be involved, and may require some time to work through. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys brain teasers and isn't afraid to do some digging and use math and critical thinking skills to help clients get the best possible results. Training for this position is methodical and supportive.

Visual Design Lead
San Francisco

Description:

Rotunda is a small startup focused on building people management software. As the Visual Design Lead you will be responsible for the stewardship and evolution of Rotunda's visual brand across a broad range of visual touch-points. Your days will be filled creating engaging, interactive products, webpages, campaigns, and experiences that people will love to use. You will be given the freedom to work independently from sketch to ship, while balancing daily collaborative projects with our engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce all business assets (e.g. templates, presentations etc.)
  • Design and produce print collateral (e.g. brochures, magazine ads, mailers)
  • Lead UI/UX design for all Rotunda products
  • Maintain ongoing web design for current products
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns
  • Ideate ways to visually engage customers
  • Produce visual content for marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • Visual Design degree, plus a min of 3-5 years professional work experience
  • Excellent visual and user-focused design skills, with an eye for detail
  • Proficient in designing user interfaces for web, mobile and other devices
  • Great eye for layout, typography, color, and iconography is a must
  • Ability to maintain high design standards in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Mastery of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Mastery of Adobe Suite
  • A proven track record designing and applying brand standards across a variety of marketing touch-points.

You are:

  • A visual storyteller
  • A strong conceptual thinker who can connect creative ideas across different forms of media
  • Experienced with web design and up to date on new technologies
  • Comfortable in UX design

Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Description:

Responsibilities:

The candidate who fills this position will need to be comfortable with JavaScript on both the client side and the server side. This position is best suited for somebody who is looking for an opportunity to:

Our front end stack is built using modular design principles enabled by open source tools developed at Rotunda in conjunction with James Halliday, the creator of Browserify. Our back end is built with node.js, express, Postgres, on an AWS infrastructure. The candidate who fills this role will have an opportunity to work on all levels of the stack.

DevOps + Backend Developer

Description:

Work on creative and challenging projects with a small team of talented developers.

We support over 25,000 users a day with a variety of backend technologies including: Ubuntu, Chef, OpsWorks, MongoDB, node, Lambda functions, Postgres, PHP, and Symfony2.

Responsibilities:

The candidate who fills this position will need to be comfortable maneuvering within that technological context in order to optimize and improve our existing infrastructure as well as scale the infrastructure our new consumer oriented product. Thankfully we don't spend a lot of time putting out fires, but when something explodes, this person also needs to be able to quickly find and fix the problem.
The candidate who fills this role will have an opportunity to work on all levels of the stack.
