Ministry Scheduler Pro 6.1: Everybody on board

This new release of MSP makes it easier than ever to put more ministries under the effective scheduling umbrella. New features allow you to grant your ministry leaders special privileges to manage just their ministries, or even specific service times, so everybody can share the benefits of MSP. The new release also introduces powerful new tools to help users organize and view individual - or groups of - ministries. And for larger churches, MSP 6.1 introduces the Plus Edition, especially outfitted for churches with multiple locations and many different ministry areas.

Ministry Leaders

Grant your ministry leaders special privileges in the Web Terminal! Ministry leaders can now easily send emails and request subs on behalf of the volunteers in their managed ministries. Also, ministry leaders are automatically kept up to date on any changes made by their volunteers through the Web Terminal. Watch the new tutorial for ministry leaders to see how it works!

View just your ministry

You can now choose to focus - or zoom in - on just particular ministries when looking at the schedule inside MSP! Focusing on ministries lets you easily identify positions that need to be filled, run the auto-scheduler, and export schedules just for those ministries.

Email templates

The new version comes fully loaded with commonly used email templates! Emailing requests for availability updates, sending out the completed schedule, reminding volunteers of their login info - all of these tasks just got a whole lot simpler! Check the Settings menu for a complete list of templates.

Get organized

Keep your database organized by grouping your ministries by location, department or however you see fit. Once your ministries are grouped into folders, you can view schedules and create emails and rosters just for particular folders. Ministry folders make it easy to manage hundreds of ministries with MSP and focus your attention on just one part of the overall picture.

Ministry folders are available in the Plus Edition only.

Available Positions Auto-Email

Now you can automatically send an email to remind volunteers of available positions in the upcoming weekend! This auto-email will go out on the day of your choosing and will list all the positions that are unfilled or sub-requested using the new {{AllAvailablePositions}} token. Get those available positions filled in a jiffy!

Clone Live Schedule Posts

Do you create multiple Live Schedule Posts for each scheduling period? Now you can "clone" those posts with a click of a button, instead of manually creating them. It's easier than ever to set up the Web Terminal so volunteers have quick access to the information they need most.

As with all updates, Ministry Scheduler Pro 6.1 is available free of charge for all current MSP users. Choose "Check for updates" from MSP's help menu to automatically update your copy of MSP. If you don't own MSP, you can purchase a license now through our secure online store.
